You shall worship the Lord your God, and him only shall you serve. Jesus humbled himself by becoming obedient to the point of death on a cross; therefore, God has highly exalted him and bestowed upon him the name that is above every name, so that at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, in heaven and on earth and under the earth, and every tongue confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father.
Hear His Word
The grass withers, the flower fades, but the word of our God will stand forever. The canon of Christian Scripture contains only the Jewish Old Testament and the New Testament. Those books from the Greek version of the Septuagint sometimes referred to as "The Apocrypha" or "Deuterocanonical books" are profitable and good to read, but are not used to establish any Church doctrine.
Sing His Praise
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord;
Let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!
Let us come into his presence with thanksgiving;
Let us make a joyful noise to him with songs of praise!
For the Lord is a great God, and a great King above all gods.
Oh come, let us sing to the Lord!
Receive His Sacraments
Do this in rememberance of me. The two Sacraments expressly instituted by Jesus Christ - Baptism (with water, in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit) and the Lord's Supper (aka the Eucharist or Holy Communion) - are the outward and visible signs of the inward and spiritual grace that God gives us, ordained by our Lord as the means by which we receive that grace, and as a pledge to assure us thereby.
Are you ready to see what kind of love the Father has prepared for you, that you should be called a child of God?
